Tips for filling in your HVAC quote

  1. 01

Write the model number, not just the brand

Customers compare bids line by line. 'Brand X 3-ton, model [number]' lets them see you are quoting the same class of equipment as the next company.

  2. 02

    Offer options as separate quotes

If you are pricing good, better and best, send them as separate quotes rather than one long one. The customer picks one and says yes to it, instead of trying to add up a menu.

  3. 03

    Separate the two warranties

Say what the manufacturer covers and what your labor warranty covers, and for how long. People mix them up, and you end up doing free work.

  4. 04

Say what happens to the old unit

Removal and disposal is real work. Put it on its own line so nobody assumes the old condenser stays in the yard.

Or skip the copy-paste and let Quotewren build it.

Try it before you sign up. Type the job and the price. Quotewren lays out the quote, adds it up, and gives your customer a link to accept it.
